Galaxy Note 8 & V30, ready to come out

Second round for high-end smartphones is coming soon. Samsung and LG, two of the most popular smartphone manufacturers in Korea, are going to launch their flagship smartphones respectively. I excluded Apple's newest iPhone 8 because there is few credible information on it until now.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 is going to be unveiled on August 23, Manhattan, US. According to news, Galaxy Note 8 has highest features such snapdragon 835 (US) or exynos 8895 (Asia, Europe, etc), 6gb ram, and IP68 protection against dust and water. The design of the device is quite similar to the previous flagship model, Galaxy S8, and I think that the most distinctive feature among others is dual camera; Galaxy Note 8 is the first model that has dual camera in all flagship lines. It could be a big selling point. LG has provided dual camera through G5, V20, and G6 while Samsung focused on a photo quality without the dual function, which means it's a big selling factor for LG smartphones different from Samsung's smartphones. What if Samsung provides dual camera? It's definitely sure that this camera of Galaxy Note 8 will appeal to a lot of people including fans of LG who prefer dual camera to single one along with S-pen, the most famous characteristic of Galaxy Note series.

LG V30 will be released at the end of this month, Berlin, Germany. V30 has 18:9 display ratio same as G6, similar to Galaxy S8 18.5:9. It also has not only 6.2 inches size, snapdragon 835, and 6gb ram but bezel-less design. The most interesting feature is that LG made a decision to use OLED panel of Samsung for its own V30. LG has used IPS panel made by LG Display for its flagship smartphones, but it looks like that OLED will be continuously used for LG smartphones. I'm so wondering how the company can handle the OLED problem also known as burn-in that makes some people including me hesitate to buy Samsung smartphones. I hope to give you the information on it after the launching. Anyway, you can enjoy listening to music with its high-quality quad dac and taking photos with improved dual camera. They're two of the most unique parts for LG smartphones to attract people.

Overall, Galaxy Note 8 and V30 have things in common such as display ratio, dual camera, and OLED panel. It's up to you which smartphones you'll get based on your priorities. Let's wait and see how it looks like and works.

P.S please remember that some specifications of the two devices I mentioned above could be changed.

In short, both of them look fabulous except price.
