[SUPER CUP] Real Madrid 2 - 1 Manchester United

Real Madrid got the trophy for Super Cup, beating Manchester United (Man Utd) 2 - 1. I actually couldn't watch this big game in real time because it's too sleepy to watch the match held at 3:45 am in Korea time. Instead, I watched the full-version after the match, not highlight. Many football fans including me in Korea have preferred to watch highlight rather than full-version. I found that watching the full-match is even helpful and valuable to see players' performances through the whole game.

The first thing what I'd like to talk about is Isco was the superb player in the match. He obviously proved that he's eligible to be one of most important players in Real Madrid. Isco, the most impressive player in the game to me, performed everything he was able to do like dribble skills, passes, and a goal, not to mention combinations with midfielders. There are certain differences of abilities, which means all the players of Real Madrid surpassed players of Manchester United. Casemiro, who got the first goal, Modric, and Kroos were also great as always. In addition, Asensio and Vazquez were the best substitution members who made Man Utd players more exhausted. It seems like the quality of Real Madrid's squad is perfect, perfect balance. Real Madrid is, so to speak, fantastic without Ronaldo.

Manchester United was not bad. Real Madrid was just stronger. I think the three midfielders of Manchester United: Pogba, Matic, and Herrera will be better. They need the time to play together. Matic was quite impressive in the match; he knew what I had to do and contributed to the goal from Lukaku. Matic will be the key player of the team in the coming season of Premier League. Pogba was not good. He should have created more chances to goals, playing as a midfielder getting support from Matic and Herrera.
And then, Mkhitaryan needed other partners such as Mata or Herrera who can play for passes and moves combinations, not Pogba. Pogba should be simple.

It seemed Rashford was lack of experiences. He was aggressive and wild, but didn't catch the point when or where he passed. To top it off, this player missed a few critical chances to goals. He needs more experiences. Valencia was one of the best players in Manchester United; he was so energetic and contributed in attack and defense.

In short, Real Madrid is super strong.
